Looks like she checked for bloat and obstruction – she was feeling his abdomen and his thigh? Oh the very first day he had some "goo" coming out of his eyes, sort of like those strings you get with pink eye. She put something in his eyes and it pretty a lot cleared up the next day. He doesn’t appear to have it now.
